Found this article in this month (May '07, UK Edition) Perfomance Tuner issue that VW is going to annouce the deal to buy 51% of Proton and Porsche is getting close to take full control of VW in the other front.
Can anyone confirm this news?

Old news, fret me. Porsche already have significant amount of control in VW.
